Another brilliant Carnivale 2015 season
Another brilliant Carnivale 2015 season which never fails to impress us. Europe's longest procession of wonderfully crafted giant paper mache floats. This year featuring Mother nature, evolution, local life and traditions. Others depicting goverment with humorous giant figures of Renzi, Silvio Belusconi and Angela Merkel. Lots of dancers and entertainers of all ages dressed in colourful carnival style. The evening carnival procession is on shrove Tuesday every year a fabulous ending to the carnivale period hosting a great party atmosphere. Visitors dress up too.
For 2016 book for a Valentines Break or bring the family over half term. Flights are very reasonably priced then. Its a wonderful day out for all the family.
We are able to accompany guests if they wish to view the carnival, visit the museum or enjoy a traditional lunch in the centro storico.
